Little Playing Card House In The Big Woods

I have now officially gone insane. 

While unemployed, I've been letting my goofy creative side out to play. It's a great way to not only relieve stress, but to get my brain working again after atrophying in the last job.

I got hooked last year on craftster.org, a great place to chat with other crafty people and show off your projects.  And do craft swaps!  Fun stuff.

Anyway, there's a papercrafts challenge on right now that I entered. The challenge is:

"The theme will be playing cards.  You can make things out of playing cards, make your own playing cards - let your imagination run wild."

Super seeeekrit craft project

I've been working on a seeeekrit craft project lately.  It's for a crafting challenge on craftster.org, and I haven't wanted to post pictures before I post on the site.  But I should be posting tomorrow, so I hope to have gobs and gobs of photos quite soon.   And this is why I haven't had anything crafty to show you for quite some time.

I do have to say, I think I'm going insane with the unemployment.  I mean, how else can you explain the fact that I just pulped up a bunch of playing cards?  You'll see why tomorrow, but really now. 

I need to find a Technical PM job *stat* or next thing you know: MACRAME PLANT HOLDERS.    Please!  Stop the insanity!  Give this woman a job!!

So with some of this free time on my hands lately, I've been entering more of the Puzzle Pirates events. My latest piece was paper cut-out work.  Yay! Paper, scissors, tape and glue.  Now just add in naps and I'm back in kindergarden.   (zzzzzz)
